Welcome to the Rotary Club of Manipal Town (RCMT), located in the beautiful town of Manipal in Udupi District, Karnataka. Chartered on 29th January 2015, RCMT is proudly celebrating its decennial year, marking a decade of impactful community service and fellowship.
Since its inception, RCMT has undertaken several noteworthy community service projects that have made a significant difference in the lives of many. One of our flagship projects is the Rotary MAHE Skin Bank at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. Established through a Global Grant, this facility represents an investment of Rs. 1.23 Crore and provides essential skin grafts for burn victims and patients with severe skin conditions.
Another major initiative is the Child Cancer Endowment Fund, dedicated to supporting the treatment of child cancer patients, ensuring they receive the necessary care regardless of financial constraints. Additionally, our Hair Donation Camps have seen enthusiastic participation, providing wigs and hairpieces to individuals undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments that result in hair loss.
